Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Automotive Engineering Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as GAC Research Institute) was established in July 2006. As the hub of GAC Group's R&D system and the technical management center of the headquarters, it is responsible for the overall development planning of new products and technologies of GAC Group and the implementation of specific R&D work.

CAC 310kW AC power dynamometer, transmission performance test bench, oil temperature control device, transmission test software. The automotive transmission integrated performance test and control system is part of a hybrid simulation test bench for automotive transmissions under various driving conditions. It includes drive, load, and measurement systems. The drive system provides power for the vehicle under various driving conditions; the load system simulates road resistance under various driving conditions; and the measurement system collects and analyzes transient data under various conditions to complete various performance tests of the automotive transmission. Data and control instructions are transmitted through the reserved communication interface with the host computer. Therefore, this test and control system requires high torque response speed and accuracy, high speed regulation rate, and high reliability. Under the instructions of the host computer, it can complete transient actions including torque loading, motor speed regulation, resistance simulation, and inertia simulation within the specified response time through the industrial control computer, and return the real-time torque and speed changes on the input and output shafts of the transmission, supporting multi-channel transient response measurement to complete the comprehensive performance test of the automotive transmission. In addition, the hardware and software control interfaces and protocols of this test bench are standardized to facilitate secondary development by users. This product has been successfully applied to the durability performance testing of transmissions for GAC Trumpchi series vehicles.
