      The methanol consumption measurement instrument integrates methanol consumption measurement and methanol temperature control functions. It is a high-precision methanol consumption continuous measurement, temperature control, and pressure regulation system. The device uses a Coriolis flow meter and is suitable for methanol-fueled engines. It can accurately measure methanol consumption for engines ranging from several kilowatts to over 10,000 kilowatts. Simultaneously, the methanol consumption meter can provide the engine with methanol at a constant temperature and stable pressure.

      The system has a liquid level measurement and display function. The pressure at the back end of the flow meter is adjustable and controllable. The constant pressure oil supply method ensures the accuracy of the flow meter measurement. It also has an emergency stop protection function; when the fuel tank of the fuel consumption meter has a liquid level alarm, the system automatically closes the oil inlet shut-off valve.

      The system can set the temperature value to automatically control the methanol inlet temperature of the engine. It can also set the heating temperature value to automatically control the heating circulating water temperature. It has a heating function and uses indirect heating with coolant.

      The system has an independent pressure regulating device installed within 1m of the engine fuel pump inlet. The device has a running indicator light and a power switch and can be connected to an emergency stop protection signal. It has an internal shut-off valve (optional) that can cut off methanol output during an emergency stop. It has a local manual adjustment function for the methanol inlet and return pressure and includes a pressure relief valve and other protective devices. The system reserves a calibration interface and provides an automated calibration tool. During calibration, the user connects the calibration flow meter to the fuel consumption meter. During the calibration process, the methanol circulates inside the device. After calibration, the user can manually modify the methanol consumption correction factor in the fuel consumption meter. The entire process is leak-free, and installation uses a quick-connect method.

      All internal pipelines, connectors, and containers of the system are made of 304 stainless steel. Welding uses argon arc welding. Methanol inlet and outlet use special flexible hose connections and provide corresponding connectors for methanol inlet.

      The FC2212LT integrated methanol consumption meter uses advanced CANBUS fieldbus technology, featuring simplified network characteristics, allowing multiple testing instruments to be networked. It can easily be combined with a general-purpose microcomputer or other intelligent instruments to form a more advanced testing system or achieve remote control.

      Compared with similar products, the FC2212LT integrated methanol consumption meter has the following advantages:

    • It can simultaneously measure the mass flow rate, volume flow rate, temperature, density, pressure, and cumulative consumption of engine fuel.
    • Multi-parameter LCD display (mass flow rate, volume flow rate, temperature, density, pressure, fuel consumption, fuel consumption rate, etc.)
    • It can accurately control methanol temperature and pressure, ensuring the stability of methanol consumption measurement and displaying the opening of each actuator in real-time (adjusting pump, electric heater, cooling water regulating valve opening).
    • The fuel consumption update time is 100ms during fast measurement.
    • It can automatically and manually vent gas generated in the methanol pipeline.
    • It can accept instructions from the host computer to modify the methanol temperature setpoint and the various parameters of the fuel pump PDD control. It has both average and instantaneous methanol consumption measurement functions and can automatically start transient methanol consumption measurement according to the size of the set engine operating condition changes.
    • It has a 4-20mA analog output signal for engine methanol consumption.
